Updates: January 2nd, 2008- Okie,, time for another much awaited update!! :3 Wow,, I've got so much news;; I don't even know where to start!! Alrighty,, first of all,, we have some high positions to fill up,, yet again,, because some of our members have been inactive. T^T Please check out the new announcement to see which spots are open and feel free to take as many as you wish ((Within the limit, of course))!! We need to get them all filled in as soon as possible so we can continue with the plots ((A few important plot characters are open as well)). Second of all,, we have many many new members,, so I'd like to welcome them all to Magic of the Seasons and say thanks for joining!! ^^ Ohh!! And have yall noticed a little something?? I've added a Tribe!! That's right!! After a few months of planning to,, I've finally gotten around to making one!! I'm glad to announce that it is finished,, so feel free to make as many Tribe cats as you wish!! :3 Also,, Javu has been kind enough to re-do the Clan lists ((They look absolutely beautiful <3)),, and is now in charge of them. That saves me a whole lot of work. ((Thanks, Javu!! <3)) Umm.. Well,, I think that's about it. Everyone have fun role playing,, and I'll see yall on the boards!! ^^ ~Your beloved admin,, Karma. Name: Darkmask
Past/Future Names: Darkkit, Darkpaw
Gender: Tom
Clan: SummerClan
Moons: 19 moons
Position: Medicine Cat
Appearance: Darkmask has a dark black mask across his face and back around to his head. The rest of him is white, although his tail has a little black tip at the end. He has large pink ears with a pink nose, with white whiskers underneath. His fur is long, and he has a well-built body with muscular legs and powerful senses. His eyes are unusual, one is golden, and one is blue, but not deaf or blind.
Personality: Darkmask's personality is sometimes disturbing. He is impatient if bothered, and does not like to be disturbed very much. He still is a medicine cat, though, and he will do anything to help the cats of his Clan. The way that he treats cats is rough, but quite accurate. He is very organized and neat, but not so good with being lazy or fun, he like to be serious. But he does have a sense of humor.
History: Darkmask's history is rather normal. He was born in SummerClan, raised in SummerClan, made medicine cat apprentice in SummerClan, and made medicine cat in SummerClan. His father -Shadowwave- was hoping he could be a warrior, and battle with him. But he soon was injured very badly at a battle, and it was Darkmask who saved him. Shadowwave is now proud of his son. Now, about Darkmask's mother, no cat really knows who or where she is. Only Shadowwave knows, but when Darkmask was about to ask his father, but Shadowwave died of old age.
RP Example: "Father, you have to tell me now. You always say 'when it's the right time, I will tell you'. Isn't now the right time, father?" Darkmask pleaded his father. They were in the elders den, when no one was around. "But, I'm afraid you'll get mad." His father meowed in a very crackly tone. He laid down on his sides and breathed heavily. Is my mom that bad? Darkmask wondered, but he was prepared for it. Suddenly, paw steps were heard at the entrance. "You better go now, son. Crackleg is coming." Shadowwave heaved out. Darkmask had no choice, he had to go, it was the elder's nap time, and they will not like to be disturbed. He went out, sent a greeting to Crackleg, and went back to his den.
It was now close to sun-high. Darkmask went again to the elder's den. He padded softly through the elder's den and went to Shadowwave's mossy bed. "Dad." He mewed quietly. "Dad!" He repeated it several times, but no answers. Is he a heavy-sleeper or a hog? I can't tell the difference. He thought annoyingly. Darkmask nudged his father, but no replies. Then a thought pierced through his head like a thorn. He put his paw gently on his father's nose. No breath.
"Darkmask died of old age." He reported to Sunstar sadly. He didn't wait for an answer, but ran away to his den, hiding back the tears of sorrow. He dug his black forehead into the earth, and felt tears hot in his eyes, trying to escape. But he kept them back, and bit his lips tightly.
That night, when Darkmask was done saying his goodbyes to Shadowwave, and when the elders were done burying Shadowwave, Darkmask went to his bed and curled into a ball.
Darkmask felt like he was in the Grassy Meadow, the grass tilting slightly as the gentle breeze carried the scent of his father. "Father! Father! Are you here?!" He yowled out. A figure appeared, the figure of a strong tom with black and white fur. It was the younger version of Shadowwave. The tom went closer to Darkmask, and touched noses with him. "Father! Why didn't you say anything? You could of at least told me you had a feeling you were going to die!" Darkmask groaned. "I didn't know! I am not afraid of dying. It's nothing to be afraid of. I belong in StarClan now." His father said in a strong voice, not a crackly aging voice anymore. "But, you didn't even tell me about mother. Tell me now!" "Son, when it's the right time, I will tell you."
