"Hey, I heard that!" Came a stern voice from the camp entrance. Mothstar stormed into camp and narrowed her eyes at Stormclaw, holding him in her gaze until he began to look a little worried, then she gave him her brightest smile. "Well, I suppose it's true, isn't it?" Turning to Drench, the leader purred. "So this," She meowed, "Is Mistheart's sister. What is your name?" Though the two cats were completely different in pelt and eye color, they somehow resembled each other very strongly. Maybe it was in the way that they were built, or the way lightning seemed to crackle between the two of them as they stared at each other, but whatever it was, Mothstar was convinced that Mistheart and Drench really were siblings. "Windmist tells me that you are planning to stay with us, am I correct?"

Stormclaw looked away sheepishly when Mothstar appeared. "Heh, sorry Mothstar." He murmured his ears flicked back. "It seems you are well informed." He added after a self conscious lick to his chest fur.

Windmist padded in behind Mothstar, smiling at their reactions. She padded over to Mistheart and added another corner to complete their square. Drench held the leader's gaze, as nervous as she was. "Drench," she replied, keeping her voice level and confident. She straightened her back, but it relaxed when she mentioned staying. "Ah, yes, I was hoping to stay here with my sister. See, it's too... dangerous to go back home." she admitted, bowing her head. "And I can teach her everything about the ways of the Clan!" Mistheart chimed in, excited as could be. Her sister, her long-lost sister was about to live in the same clan as herself!

Mothstar turned back to face her deputy, smiling once again to show him that she wasn't angry. "Ohh, it's fine, Stormclaw." She assured the ginger tom with a teasing glint in her pale blue eyes. "I was only joking, don't worry about it." She then looked over at Drench, smiling warmly. This cat must have traveled so far to find her long lost sister, it would only be fair to let her stay. "I give you permission to stay with us." The leader meowed with a firm nod. "I could never turn down any kin of Mistheart's. If you're anything like her, you'll make a fine warrior and I'd be glad to take you in." Mothstar seemed to ponder over this for a moment longer, but her mind was already made up. "Yes, yes, you may stay." She confirmed. "From this point on, think of yourself as a SpringClan cat." Pausing, Mothstar couldn't help but to ask a few very important questions. "But before you settle down here... Where exactly is 'home'? Where did you come from? Can you fight? Because if you can't, then Mistheart will have to teach you that as well."

Mistheart was bouncing around on the inside. Drench smiled, glad she was accepted easily. Then questions were sprung onto her. "Oh, well..." she began, thinking about the question(s). "I'm a kittypet." She sighed. "But my life was terrible! Ever since I was a kit, I wanted to come out here and be with me father." She bowed her head as did Mistheart. "I've learned news that he has passed away." Mistheart explained.

Stormclaw purred as Mothstar interacted with Drench. He was always astounded by how understanding and caring his leader was toward the two cats. "Well if Mistheart or Drench ever needs help I offer my services to help." He stated puffing his chest out proudly.

"Ohh, I'm so sorry!" Mothstar whispered, "I-I didn't know." Hoping to take the sisters' minds off their deceased father, the ginger she-cat went on. "And what about your fighting and hunting skills? Did you ever learn?" Mothstar gave her deputy a warm smile, "That would be much appreciated," She meowed.
The poppy seeds she had taken earlier were beginning to have an effect on Faithpaw's mind. Ohh, that's right! She remembered, Poppy seeds make you sleepy, why didn't I think of that before? Groggily, the slender silver apprentice leaned her head on Hazelpaw's shoulder. "Sorry," She mumbled, "I'm not feeling well."
"That's fine," Hazelpaw replied, curling his tail around Faithpaw's shoulders, "Do you want to lie down?"

"It's fine," Mistheart told Mothstar, trying to smile. Drench looked up, remembering the other questions. "Oh, uh, yes, I learned. My father taught me, though my mother didn't like it. My mother, as well, is passed. She died giving birth to Mistheart." Drench explained, managing to keep her head up this time. Mistheart was saddened. The first news she hears of her mother and it's about her death. Her head drooped as she held back tears. "But yes, I learned. And I tried my hardest at hunting. But when my twolegs shut me up in their nest, I had to eat that disgusting food." Drench went on, sticking her tongue out at the thought of the nasty twoleg food. She smiled, glad she was finally free. Mistheart managed to brighten a bit. She couldn't be sad when her sister was around! Windmist glanced over to Faithpaw and Hazelpaw. Oh, right! The poppy seeds! They're finally taking effect...

((Do you still want a ceremony to welcome her into the Clan? I don't have a ceremony for taking in a loner, but I can always make one up if you would like me to.))
Mothstar smiled, "So you're fit to be a warrior after all." She meowed, pleased. "That's good, because you're much too old to be an apprentice." Seeing the confusion flicker across Drench's face, the leader went on quickly. "You're going to have to get Mistheart to explain the whole apprentice-warrior system to you later on. She can also show you the territory if you want. Ohh, but you must be tired. Why don't you find yourself a spot in the warriors' den?" Mothstar's eyes softened in sympathy. "You've traveled a long way, Drench. You should be very proud."
Faithpaw nodded weakly. "Sure," She murmured, gazing at him through half closed eyes. "That would be nice."
"Here, lean on me." Hazelpaw offered. He stood up, letting Faithpaw use his shoulder for support. The light brown tom lead his friend over to a soft sunny spot and laid her down, stroking her slender grey flank with his tail.

((ah, well, i was hoping to leave that off since she's about to become possessed... so... she's just kinda like a lingering cat... she's true to SpringClan now! but, it just seems off that she won't be a loner anymore...))
Windmist had kept her ears in on Mistheart, Drench, and Mothstar while watching Hazelpaw and Faithpaw. She rolled her eyes with a smile and turned back to Drench. "Yes, any of us can show you around camp, if you like." She lifted her head, proud to be a part of SpringClan. "Oh, right!" Mistheart purred. "This is Windmist, SpringClan's medicine cat. Over there, where she was just looking, is her apprentice, Faithpaw. Apprentices, at around 6 moons old, are taught by mentors, which are fellow warriors like myself. The same goes for medicine cats. And, I suppose, you could say that deputies are training to be leaders." She smiled, looking to Stormclaw. Drench smiled back. "I am rather tired right now," Drench admitted. Windmist and Mistheart nodded. "Over there," Windmist flicked her tail, "Is the Warriors' Den. That's where you'll be sleeping with Mistheart and the other warriors, plus Stormclaw." "And there," Mistheart flicked her tail in different directions as she talked, "is Mothstar's Den or the Leader's Den. And the Queens' Den, where the queens, or mothers, reside with their kits or heavy stomachs. And the Apprentice Den, where warriors/medicine cats, like Faithpaw, Windmist's apprentice, and Hazelpaw, my apprentice, in training reside." Drench smiled at her, her eyes sparkling. Her own sister had her very own apprentice! How proud she was! She guessed it was a pretty good honor, seeing as not every cat had an apprentice. She looked around seeing all the cats with apprentices talking to them. How interesting. I think I'll love it here! she confirmed with herself, smiling softly. "Well, come on! You said you were tired!" She got up and began padding over to the Warriors' Den, flicking her tail for Drench to follow. Windmist stayed where she was, not wanting to interrupt what was going on between Hazelpaw and Faithpaw.

Mothstar watched as Mistheart explained the basics of Clan life to Drench, then as Drench retreated to the warriors' den. She had the feeling that the sisters were going to get along just fine, and that Drench would enjoy it here in her new home. She smiled as a peaceful wind ruffled her fur, the leader was content.
Faithpaw quickly drifted into sleep, the last thing she felt was Hazelpaw's tail on her flank, his scent in her nostrils. As soon as she crossed the border between the waking world and the world of her dreams, she was engulfed in a never-ending darkness. A frosty cold bit at her face, and a threatening voice rang in her ears.
Harmony and peace shall soon be disrupted, The forest is in danger. If StarClan is to do anything about it, A cat from each Clan must be sacrificed. The choice is yours, Make the sacrifice or loose everything.

Windmist's eyes darted to Faithpaw. "Hazelpaw! Uh... is she okay? I know she's sleepy, I just wanted to make sure. Can you take her back to your den?" Her tail flickered. Sure he could handle it, she began to pad back to her own den. Before she reached it, she collapsed right outside the opening. She was forcibly swallowed into a dream. A threatening voice rang into her ear.

Hazelpaw nodded at Windmist before she set off. He crouched down to pick Faithpaw up by the scruff of her neck and take her back to the den. Before he even got close enough to fasten his teeth around her fur, Faithpaw shot up, her eyes wide. "My first dream from StarClan!" She gasped, "And it's truly terrible!"
Mothstar flicked her tail from side to side, wondering what to do now. She could always go back to the Apple Grove and continue training with Mintpaw. The apprentice hadn't come back to camp, which probably meant she was still out hunting. Glancing around to make sure everything was in order, the leader pushed herself to her paws. Windmist collapsing at the entrance to her den almost went unnoticed, Mothstar saw it out of the corner of her eye. "Windmist!" She gasped, arriving at the medicine cat's side in less than a heart beat.

Windmist's eyes shot open, terror in her face. "Mothstar," she said, noticing the leader had shot over next to her, "I've had a dream from StarClan. And it's not good. 'A cat from each clan must be sacrificed,' it said." She spoke in a hushed voice. Worry clouded her eyes, fear overcoming her body. She lay there, belly on the ground, unable to move. Her tail was still and she felt frozen. Did Faithpaw have the same dream? she asked herself, remembering Faithpaw's cry about her dream. I'm sure she knows the rule not to tell anyone about it, except myself or Mothstar...

Hazelpaw shuddered at the fear in Faithpaw's voice. "What was it about?" He asked nervously. He knew that medicine cats weren't supposed to share their dreams when they got back from the Moonfall, but did the same rules still apply if they were to receive the dreams right here in camp?
Faithpaw shook her head. "Ohh no! No, no, no way!" She hissed. "Do you think I'm stupid? I will tell Windmist and Mothstar, then Mothstar will let the Clan know." The slender silver she-cat surprised herself at how firm her words were. "You've already messed up my chances of being a medicine cat one way, there's no way I'm letting you do it again!" Her mind was still muddled from the dream, and she couldn't believe the words that had slipped out so carelessly. Ohh well, the Clan is in danger. Let him think what he wants. You can deal with it later. And she was off.
Mothstar's eyes widened in shock, the clouded over with grief. "Windmist, please tell me you are joking. It's not very funny, and I'd probably be angry with you, very angry, but at least SpringClan will not have to loose one of it's warriors." But something inside of her told her that Windmist was not kidding. How could StarClan ask her of such a thing? Suddenly Mothstar felt a small body press up against her and sighed. Please let that not be Faithpaw with the exact same dream. The leader silently begged.
