Name: Tearheart
Past/Future Names: Tearkit, Tearpaw
Gender: She-cat
Clan: SpringClan
Moons: 15
Position: Warrior
Appearance:Tearheart is a slender she-cat with a delicate light grey pelt and dark turquoise eyes. Her fur is short and soft. Her face features a white speckled muzzle and short whiskers. The tips of her ears are also white, and her tail is particularly long. She also has a noticeably large scar on the side of her neck.
Personality:Tearheart is strong and fierce. She can always put up a good fight, and almost never backs down. Sometimes she can get a little over-confident. She is constantly showing off her skills, and is not at all modest. She does have a softer side, but rarely shows it.
History: Tearheart is extremely proud of her spotless history. Both her parents were clan born, so her blood is completely pure. Her father was former clan deputy, and her mother was a skilled and experienced senior warrior. Tearheart likes to assume that both her parents died protecting their clan.
Tearheart does not view the scar on the side of her neck as an imperfection. She sees it as a sign of honour and superiority. She received this scar while avenging the death of her apprentice (Blazepaw), and she often tells the story of how she defeated Shadowfoot, Blazepaw’s murderer.
The battle:
Tearheart leaned over her apprentice’s motionless body, tears streaming down her face. She could not stand to look into his empty eyes, completely drained of the life that had once filled them. Her heart seemed to stop pounding at her chest as she realized Blazepaw was dead.
Tearheart’s pain and sorrow rapidly grew into rage as she darted blindly into the trees, leaving her apprentice’s body behind. Her sensitive nose immediately picked up a strange scent, mixed in with the foul odour of blood. She could tell that this was the scent of Blazepaw’s killer. The idea of revenge became more intriguing, as Tearheart followed the trail across the WinterClan border. She made her way through the unfamiliar territory, each step seeming to echo through the entire forest. Tearheart had reached a frosted clearing, when suddenly, she heard a twig snap behind her. She whipped her head around, her eyes meeting the ominous stare of a dark figure. The figure stepped out from the shadows and revealed itself to be Shadowfoot, a respected warrior of WinterClan. Tearheart noticed Shadowfoot’s bloodstained fur, and could tell without a doubt that this was the cat who had murdered her apprentice.
“Why did you kill him?” Tearheart demanded.
“Get out of my territory.” Shadowfoot countered.
Tearheart was done talking. “I’ll leave after I kill you.” She hissed. Without hesitating, she launched her attack, striking Shadowfoot hard across the chest and knocking him off balance. He hurled back at her, but she dodged out of the way. She pounced on him forcefully, making sure he hit the ground before she swiped her claws across his shoulder. The first drops of blood tainted the grass, and Tearheart could not help but wonder if Blazepaw was watching her avenge his death.
All of a sudden, Tearheart caught a glimpse of movement from the corner of her eye. A WinterClan patrol stepped out from the bushes, snarling and baring their teeth. Starclan help me, Tearheart pleaded. She felt a sharp kick at her stomach, as she realized that she had accidentally loosened her grip on Shadowfoot. She was thrown back, and her body awkwardly rammed into the dirt.
Tearheart quickly got back on her feet, as she heard Mothstar’s battle cry ring out through the trees. SpringClan warriors came flooding into the clearing. They began to fend off the WinterClan patrol, leaving Tearheart to finish off Shadowfoot. She lunged powerfully at his back, pinning him to the ground. He struggled to shove her off, but she kept a tight grip on his shoulders. She raked her claws down his back, before slamming him into a tree. His limp body hit the ground, and Tearheart leaped onto it to attack him once more. She thought he was unconscious, but he startled her by raising his paw and swiping it fiercely down her neck. A small stream of blood trickled out from her new wound. She thrusted his claws away from her and held him down again. This time, she went right for his neck, digging her sharp teeth deep into his throat. His body became lifeless beneath her, and she knew he was dead.
