Sitting outside the leader's den, the orange apprentice waited for her mentor, Darkmask, to catch up with her. A shiver passed through the slender frame as the remembered the terrible dream that she received. It was evident to her that this was the first dream of many to come. She didn't want to receive any more dreams, but she knew that the dreams won't stop until the prophecy is fulfilled. Gazing after the approaching figure of her mentor, a strange feeling stirred inside the orange apprentice's stomach. No, I can't be falling in love with him! I'm a medicine cat apprentice! The young cat chidded to herself. When her mentor finally caught up with her, she teared her eyes away from him. "You go first." Glorypaw meowed softly, keeping the longing out of her voice. But now's not the time to focus on that now. Now's the time to focus on the dream--no, not dream. Nightmare. Starclan, where are you? Glorypaw thought forlornly, gazing up at the bright sunny sky with her scarlet eyes.

Darkmask stopped at the entrance, and stared at his beautiful young apprentice. "Glorypaw, is something wrong?" He meowed quietly. Other cats would be surprised at Darkmask if he spoken out loud like that, they all knew Darkmask was a very short tempered cat. He shuffled his paws on the cold earth, and his tail twitched in confuse. Then he looked into the brambles of the den. The stale scent told Darkmask that their leader was off somewhere else. "Let's go back, Ravenstar is elsewhere." Darkmask also wanted to hear what the apprentice had to say.

The orange apprentice's head began bobbing up and down slowly. Her tail slowly drooped even lower to the ground than before. "Yes, lets." Glorypaw meowed in barely a tiny whisper. Flicking an annoying fly away from her face with one large, citrus-coloured ear, she began to slowly pad back to the medicine cat's den. When she was about one quarter of the way there, Glorypaw opened her muzzle to let out a huge, exausted yawn.

Darkmask curiously looked at Glorypaw, and she looked exhausted. He then realized they haven't got much sleeping done ever since the dreadful dream. Then he paused, looking at his apprentice, then ordered in a murmur. "Go back to sleep, if there's any cat who needs help, I'll take care of it." [/b]He flashed a smile, "You need some shut-eye."[/b] Then he went away, paddling to his den with the young she-cat a tail-length away.
