Mistheart nodded to Mothstar, knowing how busy she was. "Sure, I had planned on giving you advice on what to do. Besides, I need to tell him some things." She kept talking as they walked into camp. She padded over to a bit of a corner, still lightly pressing Hazelpaw. "How do you think I found out, hmm?" she started out asking what he thought. She was still a bit agitated, figuring what he had in mind. "Tell me honestly." Mistheart tried to be strict while defending Faithpaw as well.

Hazelpaw dug his claws into the ground, he decided that there was really no point in hiding it anymore. Mistheart probably already knew anyways. "Faithpaw," He muttered, almost apologetically. "She was there. I came with her to help collect herbs. As soon as she saw Wishpaw, she ran back. I know she told you, so don't even try to pretend. I mean, why else would she come back?" Hazelpaw sighed, half out of anger, half out of something else, though he couldn't quite figure out what it was. Part of him was just disappointed that he could no longer trust Faithpaw anymore. They had been such close friends, he just didn't understand why she would betray him like this. It didn't seem like the Faithpaw he knew at all. Hazelpaw thought he could trust her with absolutely anything. Apparently, he was wrong. Drifting off, Hazelpaw suddenly realized something important. Violetpaw was there! She was with the other WinterClan cats! Foxdung! I was so busy thinking about Faithpaw, I barely even noticed her! Ohh well, it's not like I could have spoken to her or anything, she probably didn't even notice me either. Otherwise, she might have said something. Besides, it probably wouldn't have went very well, me being caught meeting up with Wishpaw and all...

Mistheart made a buzzing noise. "Wrong! Why do you suspect her just because she decided not to go near the boundary? Besides, I'm your mentor and I had to see how your hunting techniques were coming. Hunting for prey; bad. Hunting for other clan she-cats; too good." She looked down on him, still angry. It makes me mad that he suggested Faithpaw. I knew he would, but it still makes me mad... "I was in one of the bushes nearby. It surprised me when you didn't catch my scent. I suppose you were too wrapped up in those she-cat's scents." she sighed, unwrapping her tail from its displeased position and standing up. "For now, do some favors for the elders until I can talk to Mothstar again." She began padding away before she became to mad to hold it in. "You have no idea how much you've hurt Faithpaw." She kept walking back to the medicine cat's den.
[yeah, mistheart is headed back to the medicine cat's den...]

Hurt Faithpaw? Hazelpaw shook his head. That couldn't be right, it just couldn't. What have I ever done to hurt Faithpaw? If anything, she hurt me. Or according to Mistheart, she's innocent. Now he wasn't so sure. What Mistheart said did make sense. She was his mentor after all, it was no surprise that she would be watching him. Still, why in StarClan's name did she choose this particular moment to spy on him. This moment, out of all others she could have chosen. Hazelpaw was usually well behaved, alert, and he would definitely have been able to scent her lurking in the bushes at any other time. But no. She just had to choose today. With his head hung low, Hazelpaw realized that his mentor was right. He should have been able to scent her. He should never have even tried to speak to Violetpaw and Wishpaw. He should have chased them off the territory, like any other loyal warrior. And he definitely shouldn't have jumped to conclusions. Right now, after giving it much thought, he doubted that Faithpaw had anything to do with this. She had remained loyal to him, even when he lost trust in her. "I'm sorry," he mumbled as Mistheart turned away.
