Faithpaw and trudged through the forest with Hazelpaw at her side. She was holding back tears, and he was looking at her in concern. Every once in a while, he would give her head an affectionate lick. She should have been happy that he was giving her so much attention, but she wasn't. It just wasn't enough. She wanted more than just friendship. She was upset because she knew what she was doing was wrong. There was no way this would work out. Sighing, Faithpaw bounded over to the marigold flowers that were blooming nearby. Breathing in their sweet scent, she bit off a few of the stems and laid them in a neat pile near her paws.
Hazelpaw, being completely oblivious towards the way Faithpaw felt about him, came over and sat down beside her. "Faithpaw," He meowed, "I need your help. See, I like this she-cat. But she doesn't seem to like me back. Not to mention our love is forbidden. What should I do? Should I forget about her?"
Faithpaw looked up with shining eyes. A forbidden love? She wondered, Well, he's got to be talking about me! What's more forbidden than falling in love with a medicine cat? "You shouldn't forget about her," Faithpaw replied casually, though her insides were melting like ice on a sunny day. "I'm sure she likes you back. I mean, who wouldn't?" By now, she was almost bursting with excitement. I could just quit being a medicine cat, Faithpaw decided, Tell Windmist that this is more important to me. I'm sure she will understand.
Hazelpaw smiled widely, "Thanks, Faithpaw." He purred, pressing his muzzle against hers. "You always know what to do. Her name's Violetpaw by the way. She's from WinterClan. I met her this morning when I went out for a hunt."
Faithpaw's eyes widened in horror, but she tried not to let is show. She quickly looked down and resumed picking the marigold. "Well, I hope it works out well for you," She mumbled through the stems, "She sounds... amazing." For some reason, Faithpaw was not as upset as she should have been. Somehow, she knew it was coming. It could have never worked out, She told herself again. You're a medicine cat. Besides, just because you can't be happy, doesn't mean he can't be happy either. Might as well help him out with this. Let him get what he wants. Then at least one of us will be happy. Faithpaw sighed, she wanted to cry, but the tears had stopped forcing their way out. Well, this is what you get when you expect too much out of life. False hope and disappointment.
((Wishpaw should come now. Make Faithpaw even more jealous.))

Wishpaw paused to lick her paw clean. It was amazing how she could never avoid dodging the most obvious trees and branches sometimes. She cleaned all the blood up and glanced at her surroundings. The trees weren't familiar. She was lost in an unknown territory.
The air was still and silent, and the sun shone peacefully against the plants and flowers. Wishpaw's nose picked up a slight scent. Marigold. I should bring back some for the medicine cat. We're running out, and the medicine cat was really busy, Wishpaw thought to herself.
Following the scent carefully with her nose, Wishpaw was searching for the marigold flowers when she picked up a distant conversation. Her ears perked when she heard Hazelpaw and another she-cat talking.
She ran past the trees and silently crept into a soft bush. Wishpaw peered over the bush and looked to where Hazelpaw and a slender grey she-cat with silver stripes talking quietly. Wishpaw grinned inwardly. This was her chance to surprise Hazelpaw.
Very steathily, she moved closer to Hazelpaw in the bush, before jumping out and yelling, "Hey! Guess who?"

Faithpaw whipped her head around, "Who..?" Her voice trailed off into nothing as she narrowed her eyes at the midnight-blue she cat jumping out of the bush. This must be Violetpaw. She thought to herself, The beautiful she-cat Hazelpaw likes so much. She sure is prettier than me. Faithpaw sighed and decided that the two cats might want to be alone. "Hazelpaw, I'm going back to camp, alright?" She gave him a knowing look before crouching over to pick up the few stems of marigold she had picked for Windmist. With a heavy heart, she turned and fled back to camp. This time, she didn't hold back the tears. She let them flow down her cheeks and brushed them away with her tail. Faithpaw stopped at a clear puddle of water and dropped the marigold at her paws. She bent over the still liquid and looked down at her reflection. She let her tears make perfect ripples in the water. You should have known it was coming, She told herself, You should have known he would never choose a cat like you.
Meanwhile, Hazelpaw was thrilled. He had not seen Wishpaw in such a long time. Countless moons had passed since he had last seen her, when he had come to visit her in her own camp. It was a dangerous mission, but he remembered the sudden rush of excitement he had felt while he was breaking the warrior code. It was one of his fondest memories. How could something so wrong feel so good? Seeing Wishpaw standing before him now, he couldn't help but to tremble all over with delight. "Wishpaw!" He purred, stepping forward to press his muzzle against hers, "It's so good to see you again! How have you been?"

Wishpaw watched the she-cat leave with a new feeling, but she wasn't sure what it was. It irritated her though. It was the same feeling she used to get when she saw other cats happily playing with their parents, but it was somehow different. Pushing back the feeling, she turned to Hazelpaw with a small smirk. "I'm good, how have you been? Who was that?"

Hazelpaw smiled down at his old friend and lightly flicked her shoulder with his tail. "I'm doing good," He meowed, "Could be better though. Oh, and that was Faithpaw, my friend." Tilting his head to the right, he examined Wishpaw with admiration. There had always been something about her that he liked, he just couldn't figure out what it was. Maybe it was her unpredictable personality. The last time Hazelpaw had spoken to her, she had been cold and harsh. Surprisingly, he had liked that about her. He liked it alot. She was not like other she-cats. Now, something had changed. Wishpaw was more friendly. He wasn't quite sure which side of her he liked best. "Why didn't you join SpringClan?" He blurted out suddenly, "I asked you to before, remember? And now you're in WinterClan. I know it might make no difference to you, but I would have liked it much better if you had joined SpringClan. At least then I would get to see you everyday. We could have trained together..." Shaking his head, Hazelpaw mumbled, "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to... attack you like that. It was your choice, I had nothing to do with it. I just... missed you. That's all."

As Violetpaw left the camp, she immediately scented Wishpaw's trail. She sighed and thought to herself, Any mousebrain could have found her, the way she stomps through the forest leaving her paw prints everywhere. She followed the trail up to the SpringClan border. She thought the trail would stop at the border, but instead, it led straight across it. What does she think she's doing, off in SpringClan territory? Violetpaw wondered. She was just about to follow the trail further across the borderline, but then thought better of it. She didn't want to get any deeper into trouble as it was, so she paused and waited for Moonkiss to catch up to her. Smirking, Violetpaw thought, Oh, Wishpaw's in real trouble now.

Snowstar bounded after Violetpaw. She kept quiet as she heard her voice. What is she doing all the way out here? She thought to herself. She crouched next to Violetpaw before padding out between the two cats. She turned to Hazelpaw with an angry stare. "You best be getting back to your clan. You don't want your clan leader finding out, do you?" She turned to Wishpaw. "And you! What are you doing out of camp, let alone crossing our boundary! Do you have any idea how much trouble your in?!" Snowstar was breathing heavily. "Go back to camp, now before you get into more trouble!" Snowstar had exploded. Not only had Wishpaw gone out of camp, but she crossed the boundary between camps! Was it really a good idea to go against your mentor, the clan leader? Most likely not, especially knowing you were going to get in trouble for it.

Moonkiss crossed the border uneasily and came up behind Violetpaw. She peered out from behind a bush as Snowstar confronted the young apprentice. Her heart swelled up in sympathy for Wishpaw as Snowstar scolded her. Even though Wishpaw did break the warrior code, her kindness won over and Moonkiss couldn't help but to feel sorry for her. She came up behind Snowstar and rested her tail on her leader's shoulder. "Take it easy," She murmured soothingly, "You can yell at her back at camp, but not here in SpringClan territory. We'd better leave before some cat catches us."
Mothstar padded through the forest, it wasn't hard to pick up Hazelpaw's scent, and it soon lead her to the Cloverpatch. Before long, she spotted Hazelpaw among a couple of WinterClan cats. At first, she thought Mistheart must have been mistaken, and that these cats were attacking the SpringClan apprentice. But looking closer, she also spotted Snowstar, the WinterClan leader, scolding a young WinterClan apprentice. That must be her, Mothstar thought to herself, The she-cat Mistheart mentioned earlier. The one that has been sneaking into SpringClan territory to see with Hazelpaw. And by the looks of it, Snowstar must have found out too. "Hazelpaw!" Mothstar called, bounding over to the light brown tom, "You're in huge trouble," That was all she said, for she didn't want to yell at him in front of the WinterClan cats. She would do that back at camp. Turning to Snowstar, she added, "Snowstar, I'm so sorry. I had no idea they were meeting up here, I swear! I just found out this morning, but it won't happen again, I promise you that."
Hazelpaw whipped his head around as the terrible scene unfolded. He was not so worried about himself, Mothstar seemed to be taking it pretty well, though she would probably yell at him more back at camp, then maybe make him go hunt for the elders or something. But it was Wishpaw he was worried about. Snowstar seemed to be really angry, and he knew her punishment would be harsh. "Foxdung!" Hazelpaw spat. Who could have told? A single name popped into his mind. Faithpaw. He didn't know who told Snowstar, maybe she found out on her own, but Faithpaw definitely told Mothstar. There was no question about it.

Snowstar sighed, comforted by Moonkiss. "That's probably best..." she trailed off. She suddenly heard and spotted the SpringClan leader. Hmm, appears we've got quite a bit of touble right now... She flicked her tail, rising up to talk to Mothstar. "I just found out, as well. Do not be sorry for now. We can make apologies later." She sighed again. What a long day it's been... Her tail flicked looking from one cat to the next.
Mist heart bounded in, breathing heavily. She raced up behind Mothstar. "Mothstar, I'm sorry for following you, but I needed to make sure everything was... okay...?" She saw a lot of cats around the two apprentices. Two clan leaders and another apprentice. She saw the sort of look that said "I'm going to kill her!" on Hazelpaw's face. "As for you," she said, turning to Hazelpaw, "I have a secret to tell you when we get back." Her face could not have been any unhappier. Now, when both clan leaders have found out and are together here!

Moonkiss beckoned to Wishpaw with her tail, "We'll get out of here right away." She promised to Mothstar, bowing her head in respect for the Clan leader. "And We'll keep a good eye on young Wishpaw, here. She won't cause you anymore problems, I promise." Turning back to Snowstar, she murmured "Come on, we can discuss her punishment back at camp." Without waiting for the others, Moonkiss crossed the border back into WinterClan territory, glad to be back on familiar grounds.
Mothstar glanced back at Mistheart, surprised that she had come along as well. "That's alright," She meowed simply. After all, it was normal for her to be concerned about her own apprentice. "And every thing's fine. We're just going to have to keep a close eye on Hazelpaw from now on, that's all." Turning back to Snowstar and Moonkiss, she added, "Alright, if you catch Hazelpaw on WinterClan territory, you let me know. We'll try our best to keep him away from Wishpaw."
Hazelpaw groaned. This was so unfair. He made a mental note to speak to Faithpaw as soon as he got back to camp. "Mothstar, if you're wondering what's going on here, we weren't doing anything, I swear! We're just friends. I met her a while back before she had joined WinterClan, and I hadn't seen her for a long time. We were just talking, catching up on each other. That's all!" Hazelpaw knew his explanation had not helped at all, he was still in huge trouble, but he couldn't help but wonder what Mistheart had to tell him. Secret? What could it be?

Snowstar nodded. "I will if I'm also informed. We'll keep our eyes on our boarders." She nodded to Mothstar. "You do the same and I'll be happy." She smiled, bounding after Moonkiss.
Mistheart nodded, glad Mothstar wasn't mad. "We can always try to," she said, giving Hazelpaw a somewhat-evil eye. Yeah, like I'm going to believe that story... Her mind was angry but she dared not to show it. Ah, curiosity in his eyes."Follow me to camp and don't wander off! I want you to come straight with me, no talking to the other cats!" Her warnings were harsh, but she had to make sure Hazelpaw got his facts straight. She stepped toward Springclan, lightly pressing Hazelpaw forward.

Moonkiss turned around and waited for Snowstar, Violetpaw, and Wishpaw to catch up with her. Thinking to herself, she decided it would be best to ask Violetpaw to keep an eye on Wishpaw. Violetpaw probably wouldn't like it, but she had crossed the border this morning. Besides, both she-cats were apprentices, they trained together and shared the same den. It would be easier for Violetpaw than anyone else to keep track of Wishpaw. Speaking of which, she couldn't help but wonder what the apprentice was doing so far from camp, and on her own too. And who exactly was that tom cat?
Mothstar nodded, satisfied that the WinterClan leader would do her share in keeping the two apprentices apart and out of trouble. She bounded after mentor and apprentice, and managed to have a private word with Mistheart. "Listen, I'm pretty worn out right now," She admitted quietly, so that Hazelpaw wouldn't hear. "I've got so much to do, especially now that Leaf-fall is here. Do you think you could deal with Hazelpaw for me? Make sure he gets the proper punishment, and keep an eye on him? That would be really helpful."
Hazelpaw trampled on the leaves underfoot. He didn't like this at all. Faithpaw. He had trusted her, and she told. Not only that, but he wasn't aloud to speak to her once he gets back to camp. They planned this, He convinced himself. Mistheart knew, that's why she doesn't want me to talk to anyone. She didn't want me to claw Faithpaw's ears off. But I will. I'll find out a way. She won't get away with this.
((Kay. Since everyone's gone pretty much gone now, we should start new threads in the camps.))
