Nearly twenty-five moons ago the Forest of Seasons was at peace. All clans coexisted happily, successfully avoiding skirmishes and conflict, even turning aside the threat of a mad cougar with a stunning show of unity and courage. StarClan seemed to shine upon every Clan; prey was abundant and kits grew healthy and strong, the Clans flourished and the weather was fair.
Among the four clans, WinterClan, AutumnClan, SpringClan and SummerClan, one Leader was respected above all others. A young, blind tom. The Leader of WinterClan. Loststar. He governed his clan with wisdom and kindness that belied his young seasons, not without the help of a kindly loner who dwelt within his terra, and seemed solely responsible for the almost otherworldly peace that had enveloped the forest.
The forest seemed to radiate pure bliss, then, in some terrible twist of fate StarClan’s benevolence was torn from the Forest of Seasons and hell was unleashed.
Shortly after the birth of Loststar’s first litter a band of rogues surged into the WinterClan territory, mad with hunger and burning with unrelenting malice. Loststar was viciously murdered, as was his loner comrade Sinbad; their bodies were dragged and paraded throughout the camp and their mates ravaged and killed. The rogue leader assumed immediate and total control of WinterClan and proceeded to terrorize the surrounding terra, bringing to the hitherto peaceful forest a terrible sense of dread that pervaded every clan.
The rogue leader’s minions began to fan out and infiltrate every clan behaving maliciously to any and all cats they came in contact with. The last twenty-five moons have been an all to real nightmare for the four clans and hope is all but lost.
However, the rogue leader, languishing in his den atop the pelt of the beloved and fallen Loststar, is yet unaware that two of Loststar’s children, a son and a daughter, and one of Sinbad’s kits have survived.
The two WinterClan kits, snatched by a brave WinterClan queen the night of their father’s murder, have been raised and apprenticed in WinterClan under the rogues’ terrible rule, while the loner’s kit has flourished on his own.
Now, Loststar’s and Sinbad’s children have begun to unravel their past and soon, when all the pieces of the twenty-five year puzzle have been assembled they will reveal all to the four clans. Friends and enemies will be made and Loststar’s son will soon find himself wrapped tightly in the snares of romance with a young AutumnClan warrior. Sides will be decided, battles fought and a revolution will begin that will shake the Forest of Seasons to its very roots.
Post to below to claim characters. Unfortunately I must confine each member to only one plot character. Characters with loyalties to the rogues will be indicated with the prefix rogue all other characters can be assumed on the side of Loststar’s memory. Rogue characters must be willing to be killed off for the sake of plot resolution. Thanks. Let’s hurry and get this started! Have fun!
