Name: Eclipse of the Covered Sun
Past/Future Names: none
Gender: male
Clan: Tribe of Shifting Seasons
Moons: 18 moons
Position: Prey-hunter
Appearance: When you first look at Eclipse head-on, you will see a silver-spotted tabby with storm-blue eyes.
His dominent pelt color is very light silver, covering his entire body, except for his paws, underbelly and tail tip. One long, thick stripe goes down the middle of his back, ending at the tip of his tail, which is tipped, not rounded. His ears are large, and his face is triangular. A small "M" of black stripes are on his forehead, like most tabbys. But the stripes of his cheek don't go back and connect with the main stripe. Instead, it fades about halfway along his cheek. His chest and underbelly can't be described as pure white, more like white with a very light silver tint to it. The stripes and dots fade halfway along his legs, and the silver keeps on fading until the tip of his paws are pure, milky white. Now, his tail. His tail have miniture stripes spilling down the main center stripe. But, at the end of his tail, instead of smaller and smaller stripes, it is capped in black. He grooms his pelt a lot, though he's not vain. It's just that his pelt gets itchy very easily. Now, his pelt might be short-haired, but it is very thick and lies close to his body. His pelt is not wiry, though. Instead, it is pretty soft to the touch.
Now, Eclipse's build. His build is not too strong, but not too lanky, either. Pretty much your average cat. Though he is better at hunting than at fighting, don't expect too little if you provoke this cat too much. When he fights, he usually fights with agility, not strengh. Each individual hair on his pelt is well-groomed, so he is pretty slippery. Also, due to the thickness of his pelt, it's pretty hard to dig your claws in deep enough to pentrate (sp?) his skin.
Personality: Eclipse isn't the most perfect cat. True, he tries to put up a positive attitude, but his patience doesn't last very long. If you tease him about his heritage, you may get a good cuff around the ear and a short-term enemy. Though Eclipse is impatient, he isn't one to hold a grudge. Eclipsemoon does what he does, when he wants it. Nobody, not even the Tribe Healer, can force Eclipse to do anything. But he does listen to the Tribe Healer orders, and is sensible enough to do what's best for him.
History: Eclipse's mother, Silver of the Gathering Dusk, used to be a kittypet. But she always knew that this isn't her way of life. At the first oppertunity, she escaped into the mountains. On that same day, her twolegs were excited about something called an "eclipse". She didn't know what this meant, but she found out soon enouth. The sun was swallowed up by a black ball. When she found her way into the forest, she became a loner. But, she was captured by a tribe patrol. When she entered The Tribe of Shifting Season's camp, she knew that this is where she belong. Soon, she fell in love with a white tom--dubbed Storm of the Whitest Snow--and fell in love, and had two kits. One was silver with black spots, like his mother, one was pure snowy white, like her father. Silver remembered the eclipse that brought her into the forest all those moons ago. She was convinced that an eclipse was a sign of good luck. Eclipse's black spots surrounded by a tiny band of white reminded Silver of the eclipse, so Eclipse of the Covered Sun he become.
When Eclipse was a to-be, he and his sister, Cloud in the Floating Sky, were exploring the tribe's territory, when suddenly an adder lunged for Cloud. Eclipse tried to wreach the adder free, he really did, but it was no use. The adder killed Cloud.
He was given his first to-be when he was only twelve moons old. He trained Grass of the Warmest Day the best of both of their abilities, but Grass died of blackcough.
Then, his father and mother died of the fatel blackcough. Eclipse was devestated. He lost all of his family.
He was alone.
After about eight moons of mourning for his family, he bounced back up as if nothing had happened.
RP Example: Eclipse snarled, biting the adder on the neck. The light dimmed from the adder's eyes, and it's body fell limp to the ground. Shaking, Eclipse dropped the dead body of the creature, and approached Cloud slowly, tentetively. The wound on her neck was wide open. He poked her body once. Nothing. Again. Nothing. Her body was already starting to cool down.
Sobbing, Eclipse sank down close to Cloud's body, his tear drenching her snowy white pelt. Looking up, she can see that the Stars of Season's Past are already appearing. He thought that he can see one extra star with them today.
Taking Cloud's scruff in his mouth, he dragged her back to Moonclan camp, leaving a trail of blood behind them. He dropped her at the camp entrance, and walked into camp. Instently, all of the other cats looked up, sensing a change in the to-be.
Lifting his head up, he gazed at all of the prey-hunters, cave-guards and to-bes with sad eyes, and released the terrible news.
"Floatingpaw is dead..."
Quick Description: Silver tabby with stormy gray eyes.
Other: Meh -.- I'm horrible at coming up with tribe names. Oh yeah. Piccy--------> i199.photobucket.com/albums/aa15/my...Eclipsemoon.jpg
