Name: Wishpaw
Past/Future Names: Wishkit, Wishspell
Gender: She-cat
Clan: WinterClan
Moons: 12
Position: Apprentice
Appearance: Wishpaw has midnight blue fur. She has dark purple (violet) eyes with emerald green specks. Wishpaw has long, sharp ebony claws. She has a small scar right above her left eye. She has a long, strong tail. Wishpaw is slim, but has a little meat on her.
Personality: Wishpaw is a shy, quiet cat to her superiors but to inferiors, she is outgoing and talkative. To equals or enemies, Wishpaw is a harsh, violent she-cat who will never back down in a fight or argument. Wishpaw is a determined, hard-headed cat and loves to do things like fight or train for battle in secret. However, she is not a very smart cat, and not that bright.
History: Wishpaw's parents used to belong to Summerclan, but when they died shortly after giving birth to their only offspring, Wishpaw grew up in the wild, without knowing who her parents were or what her past was, until she was 8 moons. Then she got accepted into the WinterClan. She spent the next few moons befriending Hazelpaw and training to become a warrior.
RP Example:
Wishpaw leaped out of the bush as quietly as she could and tried not to laugh. As she ran away from the cottage in the woods, the dog barked at her madly, restrained by a chain tied to his doghouse which was filled with poison ivy.
That'll teach Earl to chase young she-cats, Wishpaw thought to herself. She looked back and stuck out her tongue at the dachshund who was angrily yelling at her to come back. She didn't watch where she was going and bumped into something solid. Or someone.
"Who are you?" a voice of a tomcat asked as Wishpaw rubbed her ears with her paw. "A troublemaker?"
Wishpaw readied herself in case of attack, but she recoiled when seeing that this was an important cat by the way he expertly held himself and how clean he was. However, living in the wild on her own and sometimes at animal shelters, she had no clue who this tomcat was.
"Um, er...." she whimpered, a little intimidated. She cursed herself for showing vulnerability.
"What's your name?" The tomcat looked to be 7 moons, the same age she was.
"Uh, Wishpaw," she squeaked. Wishpaw innocently tried to ignore the barkings of Earl and looked the other cat straight in the eye. However, he had a mischievous smirk too, which made her feel a little more comfortable.
"Where do you come from?"
"Sorry?"
"Which clan do you represent?" he asked nicely.
"I don't. I'm not in any clans." The other cat's penetrating gaze brought Wishpaw to look down at her toes, which she cursed herself for once more.
He gave her another look through his gorgeous dark brown eyes and turned swiftly around, his tail brandishing up into the air a little arrogantly. "Follow me."
Wishpaw didn't know what to do, so she nervously followed him and broke into a fast sprint when he sped off.
"Wait! Where are you going?" Wishpaw shrieked when she grazed the trunk of a tree while turning a corner.
All of a sudden, the tomcat turned around and hissed at her before speeding towards her. Eyes widening, Wishpaw jumped up as quickly as she could onto a branch. The attacker tried to lunge at her with his claws. Wishpaw used all of her experience running away from dogs, bears and moose and defended herself.
Using her tail, Wishpaw spun herself on a higher branch and made a 360 degree spin over the branch, kicking him in the gut as she came back down.
"What do you want?" she screamed, panting heavily. She dropped to the ground and landed on all fours, licking a small cut on her arm. The other cat also dropped to the ground, and gave her a scrutinizing look. Then he straightened up and Wishpaw eyed him as he walked a full circle around her. As she watched him, Wishpaw had to think to herself.
He's cute, she thought. Too bad he's too arrogant.
The tomcat finally stopped walking and turned to her. "I'm Hazelpaw. I'm a part of SpringClan."
"That's great," Wishpaw said a little bitterly. She always wanted to belong to something. She tried to treat her small cuts, eyeing Hazelpaw suspiciously.
Hazelpaw gave her a look. "You know, I could help you out. For a she-cat, you're impressive."
Wishpaw narrowed her eyes. "What's that supposed to mean? For a she-cat?"
"I can talk to the leader of my clan to letting you join," Hazelpaw said. "I'm sure they'd let you."
Wishpaw snapped her tail at Hazelpaw angrily. He jumped back, surprised. "So you just pity me, don't you?" she accused.
Hazelpaw was genuinely appalled. "Who said anything about-?"
"You think I'm a pathetic she-cat in the wild who you need to take pity on," Wishpaw interrupted, glaring at him through her violet eyes. "Well guess what: I don't need your help. I can survive on my own. I have been looking after myself for seven moons."
"Ok, I get it," Hazelpaw tried to defend himself, but she continued.
"You're just some stuck-up, arrogant cat, you know that?" Wishpaw snarled.
"I was trying to be nice," Hazelpaw argued, stepping back as Wishpaw snapped her claws at him.
"Well, don't bother," she hissed before spinning around and walked out of sight.
-One moon later-
Wishpaw beamed as she woke up in her new den. The leader and warriors had been so nice to her when she was accepted into WinterClan last night. Now, she must get ready for breakfast and training. Everyone else had already gone.
"So, you've decided to join WinterClan?" a familiar voice asked her when she exited the den. She jumped and shrieked.
"Hazelpaw?"
The hazel-coloured cat was sitting on a tree like he was on stakeout. One thing for sure was that Hazelpaw was also surprised that Wishpaw was there.
"So, I see you didn't get any uglier since last moon," Hazelpaw stated, relaxing on the branch. "So, are you fond of mice and berries?"
Wishpaw blinked but licked her lips. "None of your business. I've heard a lot of things from you from the other apprentices. They say you can be really nice, even though you're from an enemy clan. Why do you act like such a jerk?" She was careful to make sure no one else was around.
Hazelpaw leaped onto a lower branch and gave her a grin. "Would a jerk warn you that SpringClan plans to attack at the new moon?"
Wishpaw's jaw dropped and she watched him with wide eyes as he disappeared into the shadows of the trees. "What is with that tomcat?" she muttered.
That evening, when Wishpaw turned in for the night after her first day as part of WinterClan, she found a clean but dead mouse surrounded by red berries lying on her sleeping spot.
Quick Description: A midnight blue she-cat with violet eyes.
Other: Wishpaw has a major crush on Hazelpaw, but they love to taunt each other. Not to mention that he's in a different clan and is in love with another she-cat.
